Thread: programer break-in time ?.........is there such a thing?

I ordered my diablo sport programer, and now I am waiting for that big brown truck to pull up out front to give it to me. I was planing on putting it on just before the poker run, I had my egt guage installed today, and was just woundering if I needed to run the truck thru a tank of gas under normal driving conditions ie. "city/highway" before running it on such a long ride, all the way to stateline? Does the truck need time to adjust to the new program?

The engine, probably not.

The trans will take a few miles to adjust.

Just take it easy for a few miles til you get used to the new power.
