Thread: Wow tuning really works

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes. I got my truck back after 3 days. I have to give Props to Morgan at ultimate truck performance. He took all the banks stuff off and tuned the truck and did a little exhaust work. The tuning he did made a huge improvement. My truck runs so much better and is even quieter and smooth. The power curve is so smooth and the pulling power is unreal. If anyone wants to make there truck run better PM me and i'll get you in touch with Morgan. I'd have to say he is a diesel GOD.

You sound like a happy camper. What tuning software does he have?

i think he uses sniper.

he has the ford programmer I don't have the Sniper tune yet... but it is next on the list... for now its just programing the computer.

I've been on here several hours today (first time) and I don't know what it is about Banks that everyone seems to think is so bad. What have I been missing? Got a bit of Banks on my truck and have for several years. I'd like to know more.

I don't think it's necessarily that Banks stuff is so bad, but that there are alternatives that will give you much better performance.

...for less money, that don't bother you with 50 pages of ads in every diesel magazine, and don't have the "if it's not from us it's stinky smoky garbage" attitude you get from Banks.

I had every piece of banks on my truck. roughly $3,000 .. Taking the Banks off and tune the truck $500... runs soooo much better tuned than with the banks setup0... priceless... if you want your truck tuned give me a shout and i can get it done for you.
