Is it ok to mix brake pad compounds front to back? I had my front caliper pins stick and wore out the inner pads a little prematurely. I am going to replace the pins and boots and need to replace the pads. I currently have Hawk Super Duty pads on front and back. I'm thinking about going to the HPS or LTS compound on the front brakes instead. Any ideas on if it would cause any issues having a softer compound up front than in the back?
