    LACR Drag Racing

    Yes we have drag racing dates for the start of the new year.

    Saturday Jan 28
    Sunday Feb 26
    Saturday Mar 25
    Sunday Apr 23
    Sunday May 28

    We could use a few more FORD trucks up there for our drag races.
    Drag racing is no harder than getting on the freeway , you can set there and wait for the green light and then push the pedal to the floor and then lift when you cross the finish line. We have 2 women that race up at LACR with us Kathy has a Chevy and Betty has a Dodge. Come on you guys you don't want to be out done by a woman do you ??

    If you positively cannot race then you can come out and be our cheering section , we need a lot of help in that department. Stroked Lightning is one of the fastest trucks up there and when you come down the retun road in front of the grandstands it is always nice to hear someone cheer for you. It may not seem like much but a liitle pat on the back sure feels good when you hear someone holler good job or nice run.

    So they can be posted on the sites and used to put together a DVD of Stroked Lightning Racing.

    Just a heads up. I would suggest that these dates are tentative at this point. At least as far as DHRA is concerned, as I understand it those dates will not count for points because LACR hasn't signed on as a member track yet this season and those dates do not fall under acceptable dates for the DHRA points season. Anyway, the track can do whatever it wants so the dates may be a go, just wanted to bring this to your guys attention so you were aware where they stood with DHRA. Hopefully the track will get signed on with DHRA soon so that the races will count toward the national points. I know there is a new point system with DHRA this year that really opens the door to everyone competing in the series. See you guys at the track.

    so what's the deal with tenative dates? does it mean these days we will race but may not be an official dhra event? if so, how much is it to race and what time should we be there to enter?

    Bernie needs to get his poop together, the second largest DHRA drag division in the USA and there not registerd that seems par for Bernie. I should be there on the 28 with my new truck.

    Yep when my wife had the babies I had to give her the Excusion. The truck I bought wasn't my first choice I wanted a standard cab short bed black 4x4, but she told me I needed 4 doors so thats what I got it's not ideal for racing but it looks good.
