    One Fast Truck

We had one of the most exciting weekends to date

You missed probably the second fastest 6.0 run to date in the U.S.

The record is held by DJ in Forida at 12.33

    The Red Racer went

    1.777 60' time
    7.874 1/8 mile time
    87.507 mph
    12.376 1/4 mile time
    109.009 mph

    This was done with a

    Volant intake
    4" straight pipe exhaust
    SCT tune from John Wood
    Transmission upgrades from John Wood
Zex NOS system from Biava Performance ( Thanks Jason )
    4 link suspension from ME
    28/10 slicks

We backed up this run with a
    12.404 @ 108.126 mph
    12.426 @ 108.286 mph
    12.427 @ 108.880 mph
    12.575 @ 105.900 mph
    12.653 @ 108.496 mph
    12.662 @ 105.292 mph
    12.719 @ 105.183 mph
    12.927 @ 94.150 mph on the brakes
    12.968 @ 104.086 mph

This truck is going to be awesome and we will be putting SoCaps Red Racer in the lead very soon.

Roger it has been my pleasure to race with you this season and am looking forward to next season.
We have a championship to get.

And a BIG THANK YOU to all who came out and supported us this season.

    Looked good, Gene!

    What about your 53mph run?

I wonder what the 0-60 time is on that truck (for bragging rights). Is there any way to test that?

You will have no problem breaking the record Gene. Remember at 3000 ft the truck is about .3 slower. If that pass was made at say fontana, you might be holding an 11 second time slip. Great job representing the club and the powerstrokes guys.

    Re: One Fast Truck

    According to their site:
    http://www.lacr.net/jrdivisional2005.html

    your corrected times are:

    12.004 seconds
    at
    112.28 mph.

    Thus, shattering the record!

I think the air up there was pretty bad yesterday. Might even have been faster than that if the air was better.

    Re: One Fast Truck

I did not win as I blew it in the fourth round and launched the truck in 2nd gear and lost.

Chris Tripp was the guy that won but he was driving a Ford that was running 16.50's allday.

I did make it in the quick 8 race but in the second round I ran out of NOS and the truck slowed.

Tim Albiston was the winner of the quick 8 ran a 11.60 @ 116 mph.
