I spoke to Gene earlier and he did 12.99 at 102 mph in the Red Racer. It ran a 1.7 60 ft time. This was his first run of the day, so hopefully he can do better.

Congrats to Gene and the little red truck. You deserved the win in the fast 4, you guys have continued at it and it has paid off.
Tim Albiston and his Dodge/Cummins won the the brackets and went 11.93 with a trans that was acting foolish - Unfortunately he busted a flex plate in the fast 4.
Congrats again Gene, hope you guys get more done to the truck before the High Desert Diesel Roundup.

the DA was almost 6000 ft
We need to get this thing to sea level! On a good day carlsbad would have a 100ft DA, you'll never see that at LACR. The east coast guys never tell you that the times they brag about are usually run on days when the DA is well below sea level, something we just dont see at our local tracks.
