I called Sat. for a price on a water pump for my truck (99 7.3L) and Jess quoted me $269 plus some change and tax. I verified that was after my SOCAP discount, he confirmed. I live in the South OC and since it was late in the day and seemed expensive I figured Id wait till today and do something about it. So I called up this morning hoping to get Ralph which ive dealt with before, but had no luck. Ralph was in a meeting and Jess quoted me the same price. I had since called Oreilly's and Napa and wasn't paying over a $100 more for the OEM. Sitting here disappointed, I wondered that the regular list price on the Ford water pump was, so I called my local dealer (Tuttle Click) and they saved me $40 bucks and over 100 mile drive.

Jim, I also need a starter for my 2002 F250 PSD. I see you already quoted a "7.3 starter" on 12-27-2011 on thread #1386 (List 302.81 sell 214.72 core 75.00)
Is it the same starter for all years of the 7.3 or do you need my VIN. (If so, my VIN is 1FTNW21F42EB04371.) I hear some info about 2-bold and 3-bolt starters, regular and hi-torque, so I'm not sure exactly which one I need?? I've yet to crawl underneath and get the P/N off the starter on my truck now. Also, is the price only a "pick-up" price? how much is it for shipping? If it's shipped, do I just send the core back in the same box?

sorry for misunderstanding, jess being new, failed to see that the discount was not correct. on some parts the mark up is only 33%. at 25% off list the part would sell at cost. the system automatic changes the discount to cost plus 30%, when this happens we are suppose to override and sell this part to you at cost plus 10% which would be 227.10. thanks for the heads up. we made sure jess understood the situation.

Jim, looking to cool down my automatic transmission (on a 2002 F250 7.3 4x4).
What's the price on the 26 row 6.0 trans cooler, I believe part # is 5C3Z-7A095-CA ?
Also, price for the pan filter for my stock 4r100 trans. I don't know part number, but I hear there are 2 different ones--I think depending on 2wd or 4wd???
