the fit on the recon's is good. the drivers side was a bit of a pita, and it whistles over 80..i need to pull it and redo it i think.

they are 32.5 ..they are 32.1 if you put them on a 10" rim and i think 4/10's bigger on a 9" ..i did hold them up to the stockers and they were prolly 1/2 in shorter at least. but they ride a hell of a lot better.

If you want to kill the chrome on the front bumper/grille, you could do what I did--here's a cut-and-paste from elsewhere:

I've been on a slow process of ridding my truck of chrome and yesterday I pulled the front bumper off and sprayed it with Rustoleum black rattlecan bedliner. Once the bumper was off the truck I removed the airdam, fog lights, license plate+mount, and plastic overlay on the lower part of the bumper. Once that was done, I scuffed the heck out of the chrome with 60 grit paper in my random orbit sander, wiped everything down with acetone to clean/degrease, sprayed one coat of primer, then 5 cans of the aforementioned rattlecan bedliner. I left the bumper in the garage overnight to dry then reassembled everything this morning and put the bumper back on my truck. IMO it looks pretty darn spiffy and is textured just enough to conceal any minor pits from bug/stone impacts. Sure, it's not a Buckstop bumper like I really wanted, but given $60 for spray can liner and the acetone vs. $2500 (delivered) for a Buckstop, I don't mind.
