    loss of power

    my brother says hw cant get his 97 past 55mph. he says it goes fine then falls on its face. just changed injectors, pickup pump, and cps. what would be the next thing to look at.
    99.5 f350xlt 4x4 cclb, 8" superlift, 40" mtr, arb lockers w/4.56 gears, wicked wheel, afe stage ii intake, jw stage ii tranny, 4" hog turbo back exhaust, jody tipton burnt 6 position chip, air intake plug, viper 800hf with all the goodies, 7" and 10" monitors, tint all the way around
    2002 excursion 4x4, back on the road again:yay:
    2005 vw jetta 1.9tdi, kermatdi qloader, 18" bbs rc's

    Could be restiction in the fuel pick-up in the tank. Fuel filter?

    If you have your catalytic converter could have failed, your exhaust could be pluged.

    I was thinking that it might be the fuel filter too. Take it out and swap in a new one. It needs to be done eventually anyways. I'm pretty sure it's already been in there to long already.
    2000 F250 5.4 249k miles. K&N filter.
    2001 F250 7.3 83k miles. Finally tuned DP Tuner, no start, 60 tow, 80 econ, 120 race, 140 agressive, airaid intake and magnaflow 4" turbo back.

    fuel filter has been changed. he might also think its the cat.
