Kickin' country truck drags and music

Hey all, Barona will be having their first annual KICKIN' COUNTRY TRUCK DRAGS AND MUSIC event on Saturday June 27th from 6pm-12 midnight. There will be lots of great racing fun and music. This is the first truck drag race event at this track. Barona decided to do this because of the interest and fun we truckers have had at their track. Everyone likes to see these trucks run down here and would like to do everything I can to help make it a success. Camping is encouraged, this track is out in the boonies in a beautiful location with rolling hills and oak trees. There is a paintball place and motocross track about 1/2 mile away if anyone wants to do something different on Sunday. It does not matter if your truck runs 7 second passes or 15 as there will be lots of everything to race. I am inviting all of our members to come out and help make this event a success as it is taylored for us. 1/8 mile track, $10 gate and $30 to race. You can check out Barona's web site at, http://www.baronadrags.com/

The track should be open all day for people to arrive early. I am also offering up our ranch for campers if you all want to hang out here, we are about 12 miles from the track.

I hope to see all of you there or here. Please post up if you can make it or have any questions.
    Thanks!
    Muley

Sounding good here except for one thing. I found out that the NHRDA event in Tucson is the same day.

Are any of you guys planning to go out there? I was thinking to contact Barona and see if there can be an alternative day planned so there is not a conlict.

Chime in with your thiughts on this and I will run with it.
Thanks, I agree this sounds like a great event at Barona. I would like it to be a success so they will have it again nexzt year...

That sucks! I would definitely look into Mike. I doubt Barona will change their date, but you never know. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Thanks Russ. I am working on the Barona thing and will let you all know as soon as I can. Barona is also interested in hosting a NHRDA event if they want to. I just need to get them hooked up.

    More to come...

That would be sweet. Only thing I don't know is if NHRDA runs any 1/8th mile stuff. Would be cool to make it a combo event on a different day.

The NHRDA has told me they are interested. Barona as well. No more info yet but will post up when I talk with them.
