    2000 F250 5.4 249k miles. K&N filter.
    2001 F250 7.3 83k miles. Finally tuned DP Tuner, no start, 60 tow, 80 econ, 120 race, 140 agressive, airaid intake and magnaflow 4" turbo back.

    1. tell me which alternator is the PSD on your site?
    2. how many amps does the stock put out?
    - @ idel?
    - @ 1000rpm?
    - @ 2000rpm is that how it works?
    3. how many amps does the H/O put out?
    - @ idel?
    - @ 1000rpm?
    - @ 2000rpm is that how it works?
    4. I have a 3000watt 12/120v Invertor can the stock run this so I get 3000w @ 120v?
    5. & how many 12v amps does it take to get me to 3000w @ 120v?
    5. Why should I go big with the H/O version?

    There are many factors involved in some of your questions but I'll give ya the basic answers. Come on by on sunday and I'll explain. we will have a truck there to show the Socap members output curves, load demands and such.

    5. Why should I go big with the H/O version? Our H/O units are designed for high output not only at high RPM but also at low. If you want to take full advantage of your 3K inverter you will need a H/O alternator to back it up.

    :shocked: 130/140 @ Idle :lol:.. nice!...thats some serious power for da old converter....thanks.. Good product for the Work [service trucks] vans, and Pulling Trailers.
    I got Solar on the Trailer But If & When the Trailer goes flat just plug it into the Truck 110v!
    You can run anything [Skillsaws] of these converters...done right! :cheers444:

    I was pretty sure my 05' came with a 140 amp alternator.

    If your truck came with the factory dual alternator package, then it would have come with a 135 Amp 6G alternator in the primary location, and a 130 amp 4G in the secondary. Also, the 135 Amp 6G was the largest alternator that Motorcraft/Visteon produced in house. I have yet to ever see truck that was equipped with a single 135 Amp alternator, the only time I have ever seen them was on vehicles equipped with dual alternators. Not so say that Ford didn't offer it, but I personally have yet to see one without the dual package..
