    fuel pressure question

I bought and installed a fuel pressure gauge and I have consistantly been getting about 70-80 psi at idle. tonight after about 120 mile round trip I noticed around the corner from my house that the fuel pressure was about 65 and dipped to 60 when I gave it a little throttle. Then at idle it went back to 60-65. So here is the stupid question. Is my pump gettinmg ready to take a dump?

sounds good to me.. pressure might be a little higher in the morning due to the fuel being so cold an thick.. an once it warms up an thins out your running around where i do..

I dont know if i'm just use to the 70-80 psi or what. But I was thinking what psi should I start to worry? could over filling the oil drop the fuel pressure?

Just replaced the fuel filter and now she has a fuel pressure of 30 at idle ? I thought they would'nt run under 40 psi. So it makes me think maybe my gauge is shot. Any suggestions?????????????
