Other meetings in the works

Due to the high price of fuel I think it is very important that we as a club that covers a lot of territory should try to hold as many small get togethers between our "Offical Meetings" as we can. I have been in touch with a few local diesel shops and over the next few months I will be putting together some local events in my area. These shops are one man deals that only have one work bay so they are very limited as to the space we have to work with. They also have limited parking in there areas. I am not trying take anything away from our regular stuff we do. I just want to have more get togethers to keep as many people involved as we can possibly can.

I will also be putting together some some burger joint runs and mod days like we did a while back. I hope that some of the other members will do something in there areas , like the mod days and the cruise nights. Look forward to seeing everyone that can make these little events and have some fun.

Hey Gene, if you do any more mod or get togethers at your shop, how about doing them on a sunday if it's not too big a deal. I've been trying to get to one of those forever but I always wind up working on saturdays. Thanks for considering.

I have a shop with one bay, no lift. We have had mod days up here in the past. I have been waiting for a good time when Nathan can come up to have another one. It is looking like Nathan cannot come up until mayybe in January. We don't have to wait if there are some guys that want to do some mods and or come and hang out for a day. We can barbeque if you want.
So for the San Diego area just shout out and we can make a date.

It is quite a drive Gene as you know. I would like to make it to some of the mod days at your place as well but it is a trek.

After the first of the year Mike, I'll need to do a few things to my rig, nothing major, just change a bunch of fluids, and finally get around to putting the gauges in. Not much of a "mod party". I'll be more then happy to bring food for the bbq, and some cold soda.

Mmm food, barbeque... I think in January we can get Nathan up to party. When I know for sure what his schedule is we can set a date, get some other mods lined up as well...
