Dealer claims because I have 3" blocks in rear (instead of the OEM blocks) that the support bearing on the driveshaft is shot (it is squeaking) and that I need a new driveshaft for $1000. I cant imagine how a 1.5" lift over stock can do this so I want a second opinion.

More than likely its just that the bearing is bad.

How many lifted trucks are there out there across America????

Is the truck under warranty yet??? If it is...just take it to another dealer.
