    Brake Job

Ok I have 30000 miles on my truck and it about 2 years old. How long does everybody else get between brake jobs. I have a slight squeek when coming to a complete stop.

    Any imput would be welcome.

Maybe the heavy foot and the trailer is making the brakes wear faster?

Just thought I would mention, that my brakes at 40K started squeeking a bit at odd times when pulling up to a stop, I had the local Ford Dealer Service dept check them and they reported back to me with complete Pad the Rotor thickness numbers, laid out by each corner(wheel) of the truck. My friends in Florida with three year old models, quote 100,000 Miles before brakes need work.

    Hope that helps some.

Big thanks to Bud and Matt for getting me back on the road!
