I had injector problems and had to get mine rebuilt in the past. Just to be on the safe side I used 1/2 of a dose of HSS in my last oil change using Schaffers 7000 oil. They recomend 1/2 a dose every 3rd oil change to keep your engine, injectors, and turbo clean. I only have 1000 miles since the oil change but my truck does seem to be running extra smooth so I think this stuff works.

Lubrication is definitely an issue with injector performance. I don't know about the claim on 9 out of 10 times they just need to be cleaned. I would say from what we see in our fuel shop maybe 3 out of 10 times. I would try it. Don't really think you could hurt anything running it.
