Had my XR650R in the back of my truck after returning home from a mud run at Superstition. The thing was covered with mud and the straps were soaked with water. Hit it with the pressure washer while it was still in the truck to make it a little lighter to unload. Turned the truck around to back up to the garage and the bike twisted lose and put the brake lever into the back window leaving a nasty scratch.
After a month of looking at the scratch, I broke out a bottle of TDS paint cleaner & restorer with P.T.F.E. (left over from the worthless paint seal package the dealer sold me).
I worked it over for about 10 minutes and BOOM it is nearly gone. If you didn't know it was there you it would be almost impossible to find!
