    Whats in your rear end

When I put my mag cover on last year I filled up with the Lucas stuff and they said you dont need the additive. Well about knee deep in to summer it was foaming out the breather. So I added the additive and everything was fine. Now knee deep into winter it is coming out the breather again. So does any have any suggestions on what to put in it now?

I have never heard anything good about Lucas oils. Replace it with a different diff fluid. I use Amsoil diff fluid with additive.

Am I the only one who chuckled when he saw this thread title..."What's in your rear end" ? Maybe that could be used as the slogan for a Proctologist. :D

Personally I am a big fan of Royal Purple and Amsoil. Seen tests on both and they are well engineered lubricants.

I'm in one of those moods where I can find humor in just about anything. Sorry...well, not really. Oops, there I go again.

    Is synthetic worth the cost?

I do believe that is what our rear diffs require.

Yep, synthetic is standard gear lube from the factory. They say you can go 100,000 miles between changes but I will change mine soon at about 65,000.

Edit: Woops! Should have prefaced it's standard for at least my year (2005) and newer. Not sure about yours but definitely worth the extra cost for piece of mind.
