I actually read that article at lunch on Friday. I saw fords numbers seemed a little low on power, with mods though, it can easily compete right? HOwever with towing, I like ford ranked the top for braking, power is nice for sure, but if you cant stop, it wont matter when you hit something.

Also, they were testing a new 6.4 with only 550 miles on it.
that's pretty low to hammer on it, I think.

It was'nt a fair comparison on the quarter mile and 0-60mph because the Chevy was only an extra cab truck and the Ford and the Dodge were both crew cabs, which means that they would weigh about 500 pounds more than the chevy. I would think that's good for an extra 1/2 second quicker in the quarter mile. That would put the Chevy more ball park with the other two.....![]()
