Anybody see the prototype for this car on TLC? All aluminum V10 with gobs of power in a really cool looking modern version of the original Cobra. Ole Shelby even took it for a spin and did some wicked donuts. Hope they build it for sale!

That looks like a squared off version of the original. Ford must be having problems coming up with original ideas. Everything they are doing is a retro theme. The new Mustang concept and the Bullet, the Forty Nine, GT-40, Thunderbird, now the Cobra. I think if I had my choice between this Cobra and the GT40, I would take the GT40.![]()

My dream car is the original 65 cobra, the day I have a house with a garage is the day I start selling off vital organs to the highest bidder on ebay. Even though I think the original cobra is better looking than the retro cobra you have to give Ford credit for taking cars from the concept stage to the street instead of just teasing the consumer like Chevy has been doing with cars like the 1000hp cadillac.
And can I just say the gt-40![]()

Ok I just finished watching the show, you guys are right, this is one bad ass car. The original is an icon but this new car is just awsome. I rewound the donuts scene about three times. The pictures on the web sight do not do this car justice. It would be cool to see a documentry like that on the gt-40, do you guys know if such a thing exists? I hope this car makes it to production!
