I am in the middle of putting my trans together and found this part in the pan. Where does it go!

Got it together. That part is a flow restrictor that is laid in between the valve body and one of the clutch pack feed holes. Got to talk to a mechanic at my local Ford dealership yesterday (when I went to pick up the Mercon SP - 12 quarts) and he told me I'd have to drop the valve body again.
Got the truck together, test drove it and left home in time to meet at my sister-in-law's place in Eagle Rock to party a little...
