I just completed the CCV mod on my truck. No more oily residue in my CAC, turbo, or on the tubes. If anyone is interested in doing this to their truck here are the steps I followed.

On my EX it took about 10 minutes for me. Not including the time it took for me to have superdf350 cut my 4 inch pipe to fit. I lost the stock CCV in the intake and made my own.

Did you drill a hole in the exhaust pipe?

You need to weld a 1/2" pipe nipple into the exhaust pipe at a 45 degree angle and then install an air injection check valve on it and connect your hose to that.

Gene, where did you tap into the exahaust. I am going to upgrade my exhaust in the next few weeks figure all weld the nipple in before I install?
I tapped into the exhaust just behind the trans cross member that gives a good place to route the hose. be sure to cut the nipple at a 45 degree angle and weld it in at a 45 degree angle so that only about 3/8"-1/2 " of the nipple is in the exhaust pipe.
