I am taking the IC off the EX to clean the inside and check it for leaks. I removed the top support and have the IC free, but the AC lines are keeping me from taking it out. I have never heard you need to take the radiator out, but do I? I am sure I am just missing something and any tips would be appreciated.. Thanks a lot guys..

I am trying to find a boost leak. removing the IC is my next step and plus I want to clean out all the oil that is in it from the crank case vent. I am going to pressure test the IC and if it checks out I will put it back in and if is leaks, I will be buying a used one from Leros...

I just made a boost leak detector last week. I pressurize the intake system and it will not hold any kind of pressure. It bleeds off pretty fast. And as for knowing I have one while I am driving, I am only running DP Tuner 80HP Rcono tune and I have unreal black smoke and really high EGT's. Both of which are higher now than with the stock turbo. I can black out a road like I have hybrids.

My leak detector has a built in gauge. I fill it to 15psi and it takes about 20 seconds to read 0psi.

I dont think it should hold it totally, but it should be far slower.
