It seems that the clutch on my A/C compressor finally bit the dust...

I got a new clutch and pulley from AutoZOne and all of the tools that they had for such things. After finally getting the pulley off, I got the back plate off (the electrical part) and the new one on. Once I get the pulley on, the outer plate looks kind of easy to install.

Now, based on past experience with pulleys, one should really use the proper tool for installing, to make sure that it's lined up properly. I have figured out how the new pulley can get on there. It's got a new bearing in it. I figured I could very lightly hammer the inner race onto the compressor shaft, but I don't know if that's the right way. There are no threads on the outside of the shaft which I'd expect for a pusher.

I could go on, but figure that I should just ask how you guys get them on...without buying a whole new compressor with it already installed. :)

Thanks!
