$30 Cps Not $200!
Hi out there-first post here- Ford has a new cam position sensor for about $30 here is a part number for you f7tz-12k073-b you can order online for $16 plus $10 for shipping from fordparts.com I've got a '96 they're supposed to be for '97 and up but I've read they are the same.
ya, great price, according to the guys on thedieselstop.com, the connector material is the only difference on 96 and older so you should be fine, don't quote me, just what i've heard

Would the CPS be responsible for making my truck "stall" but then quickly keep running without the need for me to restart????. my revs drop ignition lights come on then it keeps going!!!

That will sometimes be an indication of a failing CPS. Most times they just stop and will not work again but they do miss from time to time before they die. Anybody know what size bolt is on the Cps? Mine is getting rounded off and I need a new one.
