got a question.. i have a 96 and there are two short return lines that are coming off the back of the fuel filter and the bottom one is leaking ford wants 136 for the hose i thought that was kinda alot means it not longer that my index finger. I bought just a regular 3/8 hose at a auto parts store. just curious to see if there was anything special about the one on there now.

Not sure. Do they have fittings on the end, or are they secured by hose clamps? My buddy just had one of the hoses a little farther to the front blow out on him and he replaced it with braided stainless ones from Industrial Liquidators. I had him get me a set (they were $20 for both) but I haven't done them yet, because I want to replace the little ones while I am in there Let us know what you find out about those.

if you're talking about the ones that go from the fuel pump to the filter bowl attached by hose clamps, just replace with diesel rated fuel lines from napa or...i think one is 3/8 and the others are a different size...that's what i did and works great...good luck!
