Now my good buddy Wally is the owner of a shop called "Speed Way Pattern" which is a machine and wood shop. He has a welder and a bender... two things that allow you to fabricate almost anything you want. I have made light mounts for just about every spot you can weld onto on a ford pickup lol. My recent vendetta was my new truck did not have good reverse lamps. That was the first thing i did on my old truck... They are a good thing to have. I recommend going to your local marine store and picking up a pair of docking lights for two reasons:
1. Dont have to worry about the weather.
2. They have a wide beam.
Now im not going to post steps on how you can mount them unless people want because then ill take mine apart and re-mount them step by step with my camera. But a big reason why i wanted to bring this to your attention is because most of the reverse light kits out there want you to splice connect to your rear OEM lights. You dont have to do this... infact instead of running noticeable wires all around all you have to do is splice connect into your trailer harness. Look in the back... The center wire is for your trailer reverse lights or the center prong. Splice into that for your power and you can use the hitch assembly as where you can mount and ground your lamps. I was a stereo fabricator and electrition so i have taken on alot of small projects on my truck. If anyone needs help installing some beefy reverse lamps or any other questions with wiring let me know =) If you need a custom piece made say like a light bar or something you can let me know too and we can make it at the shop. We also can paint it.
