Main Street Truck Show

I have two ideas for a meet... The first might not work but it would be damn cool because the truck scene is popular in that area. How many of you live close to huntington beach, ca.? Well off Pacific Coast Highway right there on Main street its always a happening place with parking right there on the sides of the street. Its perfect for a truck show or something because you can park right infront and people are constantly walking by. We could talk to the city and see if for one night we can get a big section of that parking reserved for the SOCAPS trucks only and make a small donation to hang a banner or something. Just a thought =)

The second is i go to parker arizona almost every weekend. ( Thats the colorado river... Havasu just befroe it... Parkers trip woo woo!)

And i always see people with trucks. We should do a SOCAPS River Run or something... There are tons of places to go offroad and for those who sit stalk there are paved dirt roads that are fun too. There are lots of hotels to stay including the new Blue Water Casino which is a cool place we go to play the slots! If we pick a nice weekend like over spring break to do our run we could get alot of public attention. The best thing is there is a place called the desert bar which is this bar way out off a trail that every one goes too. Its an easy trail and they have live bands and its huge! Imagine seeing 5 - 10 Socaps Diesels parked in the front row. I have a house out there too we could use as a meeting place and since its right on the water we can have BBQ's and the kids can play in the water. You can also go shooting and if you have dirt bikes or anything you can haul them too. Its about 280 miles from los angeles heading East on the 10 freeway. 4 hour drive with light traffic. What do you think?

HB may be hard to get organized since you have the city and parking is limited. But I am down for a river run.
