Will a scanner pickup info on HPOP pressure? I have a Autoxray # Ford OBD-1 83-95 with EEC-IV but no manuel. I need to check the pressure.
I read that if the CU was updated-flashed it should now be OBD-2 complaint?

Are the connectors the same? I think I heard that they were different from OBD 1 to OBD2... But I have never looked to see.

Powerstrokes are a gray area when it comes to OBD systems.
All powerstrokes no matter what year they are came with an OBD-II compliant connector. They as far as I know, the first fords to be OBD-II for the 1994 1/2 powerstrokes.
The Connector is located in the cab, at the bottom edge of the dashboard, just to the left of the glove box.
An OBD-I scan tool will not work on a powerstroke.
