2006 into 1997

Found a 2006 7.3L with E4OD Tranny... Will this fit in my 1997 F350? I already have a stroker in it... The 06 has 13000 miles on it and guy wants to get rid of it....

Hmm....something doesn't sound right. What is this engine out of?

If it's a 7.3L out of a ford, then it should be model year 2003 or earlier. Also, if it is an engine out of a super duty, it should have the 4R100 trans.

As far as I know, there is no such thing as a 2006 7.3L

I had not seen it until tonight.. It is what I had thought.. It's a 6.0 with the 4100.. Don't want that for my 97...
