Noise from under hood leads to Turbo problem

Noise from under hood leads to Turbo problem. I noticed a couple months ago that there was a squeaking noise under my hood like the fan belt.

But the Ford mechanic said it is the turbo, I had the same noise before and they put a new belt on at about 15,000 miles, and now it has 34800 miles.
And he says he might not make me pay for the whole thing because I am so close to the warranty.

But isn't the turbo part of the engine? therefore it would be covered with a 100.00 co-payment? Oh by the way it is over the three year mark.

This might be interesting or not, the squeaking noise I heard was the belt, so they had to replace it.

I just had one replaced 13 months ago and my truck only has 35000 mi. or so.
Also they had to replace the turbo, and the girl at the service counter said they replace tons of turbos.

Back to the belt I brought it in 6 months ago and told them that in the morning you can hear the noise, so they kept it over night and they said they could not reproduce the sound.

The next morning it was there again and ever since then and before then, but this truck is for work and I could not take the time off to let them keep it overnight, and run over there so we could all hear the noise.

Since I had to wait they will charge 100.00 co-payment for the belt, but if they were honest and said they heard it then it would have been covered in my warranty. NOT FAIR.

    Anyone else had this problem?
