    I drove it today.....

Not Bad …. Not bad at all….. except for the shutter in the transmission pulling the 10000lb trailer on a rolling start 15mph to 75 mph and that the transmission shift points are a little on the long side at full throttle.
And that the motor never got hot from beating the crap out of it. But when the motor does get warm and your at a idle with your foot on the brake the motor will go to about 900rpm and if your not paying attention the truck will creep forward. The tow/ haul mode braking does work and it will hold the truck and trailer back going down the hill (35mph). Pretty smooth acceleration kinda like a real big electric motor as compared to the 07 F350 with the 6.0 liter. The acceleration on the 6.0 they had to compare was more jumpy ( like a small block to a big block) as the 6.4 liter just wound right up. Under hard acceleration the transmission would shift at around 3200 to 3300 rpm where the 6.0 would shift at around 3500 to 3600 rpm. All in all,not a bad truck. What was not appealing to me was the way SUPER DUTY is stamped in the grill towards the top ( if you looking down at the hood you would see the Super Duty Logo and on the lower portion of the tailgate. The good part about the side view mirrors is they do work. They are huge, and electrically telescoping. The not so good part to me is they look like they came off of a Transformer action figure. I hate using words like “BAD “ to describe something because some out there must really like em.” Like it so much, they got the okay to get the factory to put them on the truck. The dash is nicer, the gauges are nice. Seats and the center console are a little nicer . I just might have to order one.

No, you're wrong. It just means that the truck you drove will be fully broken in and have more power ;)

    I drove one today, too.
I'll second what Dave said and add:

    Smoother all around.
Tow Haul worked better on the hills with the trailer and was much quieter than the 07 6.0.
Cabin seemed bigger (farther away from the dash). Maybe seat goes back more?
    I drove two lariats.
Definately more power with a 10k trailer vs the 6.0.
6.4 Defueled during shifts, most noticable when unloaded.
slighly less feel through the steering wheel.
tail gate/step was pretty solid and very neat. (I wasn't supposed to pull it out..doh!)
The insert for the side "vent" was red. Weird.
SUPERDUTY is too pronounced on the grill.
The mirrors are UGLY, but work very well.
Rear bumper is different and refreshing to see restyled. (been so long!)
The fan came on with the 6.0 and the trailer. Never with the 6.4.
11.3 towing, 15.4 unloaded (throttle was used as an on/off button most of the time)
Didn't like the circular vents, but liked the rest of the dash layout.
brake controller display is now in the message center.
I have NO idea where you're going to put aftermarket gauges.
turbo lag was 1/2 or less than a 6.0. maybe 1.5 or 2 seconds to full boost vs. 4 seconds with the 6.0.
trucks spec'd at 350/650 vs 325/570 (as people have been saying)
towing cap was 12,500 with 3.73 gears, vs 11,400 for the 6.0 w/ same gears
I would say the ride was fairly smoother loaded and towing than the 6.0. It was evident. NVH was slightly less.

I like it. Much more refined than the 07 6.0

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
    1. Jesus Christ
    2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Me too. At least until I win the lottery.

Maybe I will go try to find one to test out somewhere. I would love to give one a shot to see what it's like.
