    Limp Mode

    Ok, heres one.

Started the truck this morning took off down the road and could'nt get it to accelerate. It was steady and slow, slow and steady, like I was pulling a 40,000lb trailer up a hill. No Missfiring, idle was fine, No smoke, nothing. Stopped at the light about half a mile from the shop was going to turn around. Light turned green and everything worked fine.

A few minutes later it dawned on it was running in limp mode.

Any quesses as to what could have caused this. Glow plug not hot enough, is about the only thing I could think off. Rest of the day truck ran like a champ.

Mine will do the same thing when the engine is cold.Once some heat gets through it, its fine. I now start it and let it idle for a few mins. and it it fine.
