    a little help please

i have recently bought a '87 6.9 4x4 i was told it needed a new clutch and it acted like it too so i replaced the pressure plate, disc throwout bearing and the pilot bushing. now i thought the flywheel was o.k. but i was wrong (what a great idea ford had, NOT!!!) after all that work, which i did myself, i find the flywheel itself slips. My question to to everyone is: Does anyone have a dual mass flywheel in good condition for sale? my next alternative, and probably better one in the long run, is to find a single mass flywheel and clutch setup. Does anyone have one for sale? or know where to look for one? i thought about junk yards but i had my flywheel off and couldn't tell there was anything wrong with it, how can you tell if it's broken before installing it and having to do all that work over and over and over until i get lucky or discouraged
    please help thanks, paul

The best clutches to use come from www.SouthBendClutch.com
But for your application, a LUK will be more than enough. As for a DMFW, you wont find one worth getting that is used. They are junk and should have never been put in.
    Is your trans a ZF-5?

as far as i know the 6.9's had the Single mass flywheels, but maybe not all? I would just go new too as everyone replaces the DMF's anyways with singles.
