I wonder if this is partly to blame for uneven tread wear

I think I need to put in my new polyurethane bushings soon. And add-a-leafs. :smirk: Stinkin' TTB! :bash:

The bolts are basically sitting at on the bottom where there should be bushing. Same with the axle pivot.

You should just do all the bushings. It will drive liks a new truck afterwards. Mine did... Good find though.

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
    1. Jesus Christ
    2. The American G. I.

Yeah they are all in horrible shape, I'm sure bouncing around at Pismo took out whatever life they had left. I actually have had a set of Energy Suspension poly bushings for springs/shackles, and axle pivot sitting around for a while, same with the Skyjacker add-a-leafs. Just not found the energy yet to put them all in.

My front end is sagging horribly, especially with that winch, and I think those alone should more than bring it close to level. I'm sure it will be just like a new truck, I can't wait to do it I just don't want to (like everything else I have to do :bawling: ).

I still haven't forgot about the D60 yet, :) I think I will be happier with my D50 once I get it fixed, too. There is no way now with the new buggy and other stuff I can afford a D60 now or anytime soon either, especially since I already have the parts I need for the 50.

Well I guess I will keep everyone posted.

Hey ryan did you buy the whole kit of bushings and if you did, do you have a part number and place where you got them from? maybe we can get together and change out the bushings together.

Search for part number 4-2121G at summitracing.com :) Same part number for the F250/350, it includes all six bushings for springs/shackles.

As for when I personally will find time to do this, I have no idea. I hope it's not a real short term thing if we all want to get together at some point.

Oh trust me, I meant it when I said it's not real short term. In case you didn't know, I am really slow and even more lazy.

The poly bushings have been sitting on the shelf in the garage since (...checks order history...) early January.

Maybe I will muster up the energy and courage to do it (relatively) sooner than later now. I still have a couple higher priority things I kinda want to do first.

10-4 that (in no particular oder)

    1) Turbo rebuild and install ATS wastegated housing
    2) Intercooler install (pull my freakin boat anchor bumper/winch and wirebrush/repaint bumper)
    3) Install onboard air system
    4) Replace front end bushings
    5) HX mod
    6) Install front add-a-leafs
    7) Driveshaft u-joints
    8) Replace HPOP

I think that's about it, for now. Oh I think my motor is out of balance too I get some ugly shakes maybe you can help me balance it.

I hope you really are off for a while. ;)

    ;)
Put the bushings, add a leafs and u joints at the top of the list. they are safety and maintenence items.
I always like to do power mods first myself, but I have been holding off on getting a new chip and intake until I install the powerstops, hawks, and a set of guages(all, like you, sitting and waiting to go on). Then goes the intercooler and the intake and chip.

If you have either a press or a oxy/acetalene torch, the bushings arent that tough to do. Once the old ones are out the rest is gravy. I'll be doing the same thing pretty soon, just reverse, since I am taking the add a leafs out.
