Bought a 97 F350 crewcab 4x4 with the PS today.104,750 miles, rebuilt trans with an upgraded drum(was aluminum, now steel), new BFG all terrain and a 4" lift(will probably come off). Has a Superchip, downpipe and full exhaust with no kitty.

I know what you mean, I did the RSK on my truck an ran 33's,it only gave me about 2-3 inches of lift. ANd looked kinda funky to me. Now i got 35's and it fits alot better.
You gonna go bigger? I could tell a difference towing but cruising down the freeway it does 80 at like 2500.

I will probably take the lift out for either stock height or 2" max lift. This is gonna be 90% a tow vehicle so I would rather have the tow capacity and some better mileage. The truck has 3.73's so I dont want to do bigger tires at all.Originally Posted by desertwheeler

RSK is a reverse shackle kit. It lets the spring and axle move more naturally. SO in other words it puts the shackle in the back so when you hit a bump the aaxle moves backwards. I have an install thread in here on how i did mine and stuff.

Nice looking truck! :waytogo: I think it looks great with the lift, but I can understand your desires for a vehicle that will primarily be used for towing.
If you do the RSK, you should get a relatively smoother, more comfortable ride as compared to stock.
Even more so if you do super duty springs too.

Will they add any lift or are they the same as our stock leafs? I'm thinking do the RSK and remove the 4" lift. If I can get an even better ride with the SD leafs I will do that too, just dont want any more lift than the RSK gives.Originally Posted by desertwheeler
