Jeff and Jer's Cyber March To Support Our Troops
250,000 Americans have answered the call of their country to serve in Iraq. 50,000 of these men and women are our friends, neighbors, husbands, wives, moms and dads, from San Diego County. Can you even imagine their strength and courage, or the courage of their families who carry on here, hard as that must be? Many of us who've seen the sacrifice these people are making have wanted to do something to show our support. But WHAT do we do? Should we make signs and march through San Diego? Should we go to Qualcomm and stage a large event for them to see? We think the last thing the police and safety officials need right now is another public event - pulling them away from keeping America safe, at a time when we need them on guard to protect us from the threat of terrorism. So, we invite you to join us in our Cyber March to Support Our Troops. Please add your name to this list. Have each member of your family enter his or her name. Moms, dads, children and every person will count. As you sign your name, you will see the counter click another American stepping up. Then, soon after, you will see your name added to the growing list. We hope word will spread throughout the internet, so people from around this country will sign - and that when family here gets to make contact with the brave Americans over there they ll be able to report to them that here in San Diego hundreds, and then thousands, and then TENS of thousands of Americans are saying THANK YOU, you have our support, our prayers, and our grateful appreciation. Here is something we CAN do.
Look, nobody ever wants war, but if our men and women are over there doing their duty - 19, 20, 21-year-olds, a world away, and wondering if anybody back home is with them... we're going to back them 100%. Will you step up, and sign your name?
