    a question for Gene

Hi gene, congrats again on your run in Houston! When I saw the truck run at LACR it seemed to me that the truck could use a larger tire, didn't it go through the gears? Does Hoosier or someone else make a tire size better suited for the truck? What do they cost? Also what size tires are you running in the front? I want to see new rubber on that truck! I am willing to challenge the members of this club to do so! Let us know what it costs, or what you want and we'll get it done! You also need streetable tires for the rear. We could get people to donate near new tires that are sitting in their garages. Take care, B. ps. by the way I have question for you, thanks

    Re: a question for Gene

Yes it goes through the gears very fast and a taller tire will help the launch and the mph. M&H Racemaster makes a tire that would have worked on the truck before injectors. With the power that the truck is capable of those tires will no longer be useable to us. We have stock 265's on the front to help hold the truck on the line as the back tires pushes the truck though the lights. I am looking for a 195/85 R16 for the front. As far as tires for the back we are undecided at this time as I am working on what will be needed to take the truck to the next level of competition. This is going to be a very exspensive step if we take it , as it would require a complete rollcage , narrowing of the rear end , very large slicks and many more saftey items to keep me safe in the truck that the new speeds and times will show. This truck is capable of numbers that have never been done before. I will try to keep everyone updated as we move along with this very large project.

This is a very generous thing you are doing. Drag racing at the level we are approaching is very exspensive as John Wood and I found out with our trip to Houston. I would like to get a NOS filling station so we can fill our own bottles. We can fill our bottles for almost half price if we do it ourselves. To have the bottles filled it is $40.00 a bottle @ 4 runs a bottle does add up very fast.

I do have a pay pal account at prostreethauler@yahoo.com

These contributions are NOT tax deductable (sorry)
