    LOCK YOUR TAILGATES

I just wanted to give all pick-up owners a heads up.
Just when you think you have done everthing to prevent your truck from being stolen.
Some crook comes by and in a matter of seconds takes your tailgate because you forgot to lock it. Making you angry and costing you about $1500.00 to replace.
This is a Nation Wide Theft series so be aware. The crooks will most likely move on if your tailgate is locked.

    Re: LOCK YOUR TAILGATES

I always lock my tailgate. I have my daughters truck right now, since mine is still waiting for front end parts! I locked hers the day I borrowed it and it is still locked.

    Re: LOCK YOUR TAILGATES

I am looking into one of the power locks for the tailgate. When you hit the lock button on your remote, it locks all the doors including the tailgate.

My Mossberg sticker works well as an anti theft device. Looking for one more good sticker for the other side of the window though...

Here is a link. It is from Pace Edwards and is called the Powergate. I see them on eBay for about $70.

The only other option you have is to sit on it with a shot gun and a 6pk....... The lock may be the better way to go....
