I guess I will be the 2nd 6.9L to post. This is a pretty cool site, close to home at least. how is the truck working out. Getting ready for a little hunting? It is getting to be closer to that time of the year. Got any big trips planned for the fall? I am pretty stoked I will be coming home in October, should give me some good deer hunting time this year. I'm getting the 87 ready for hunting season right now, I just purchased a 1988 F 350 4x4 to part out, so my old 87 will get a badly needed Dana 60 for the front! If you or anyone else can use some parts off the 88 let me know

Bird hunting is all I do, quail, dove, chukar, some pheasnats, lots of ducks and all the geese I can handle!

Yup, I do birds too.. I was thinking about heading down to Yuma to do a little dove hunting this fall maybe.. Or if you guys have a better area, let me know.. I should be getting to Alberta or Saskatchewan to do some N. Deer hunting, but I am always up for some bird hunting.. The 87 will be something to be reckoned with, with that D60 up front. I am glad that I went with the one ton.. Anyhow, we should be able to link up some time.. I usually get up to Pedro to see my Uncle and Pete as much as I can, so we will have to try and link up.. That would be awesome if we could all get out for some hunting.. Scotty

We hunt Arizona for doves every year but we stay clear of Yuma and the crowds and hunt north of there a couple of hours, dove hunting is all about scouting. Feel free to get in touch with me anytime!

I do dove in El Centro. A buddy of mine lives there and finds us some pretty good spots. I'd love to hunt AZ for quail, because quail in SoCal are all but extinct. I miss good quail hunting!!!!
