So I guess 7.3 IDI's really are bullet proof.

By the extensive amount of postings in the last month, am I to assume that IDI's don't need fixing?

Anyhow, installing 4" straight pipe exhaust tomorrow, should quiet down the cab noise since I'll have more pipe than a down pipe.

Exhaust is installed, man what a difference. I even think I build boost a little quicker now that I have some back pressure? Could just be wishful thinking. Any the guys at Rancho Muffler did a great job.

10,000 miles on the 7.3 IDI since May, I like it!

In progress on the WVO or Biodoesel yet?

Sorta, I have a new blend that is working awesome
    70% Veggie oil
    25% Diesel
    5% RUG (Regular Unleaded Gas)

For oil I am burning Costco's brand of Soybean oil. $2.70/gallon.

    No pre-heater either.

I have also read alot about adding acetone 2oz/10gal. of SVO or WVO. With that in mind and now that I found a place to store lots of oil, I'm going to fully persue getting a sample of waste oil from that company.

hey your truck is white too! I didnt like my side exhaust. It turned teh whole side of my truck black. now i just get black spots all over the place. My truck was actually quieter with just the down pipe with all the windows closed its not bad at all but roll down the windows and its noisy but if you open the back window its very loud
