This has been a week so far, need help

Well the week started with some really bad news that I won't get into. Then yesterday I went out to my truck after work and started to go home, when I noticed that my tailgate was gone. Someone stole my tailgate from right in front of my office. The really bad thing is I always keep it locked, but I happened to be carring stuff in it and didn't lock it this time. Then on the way home I was pulled over because of my bedrug that used to be attached to the tailgate was flopping around and was covering my licese plate. I got a warning for that but did end up getting a ticket for no mudflaps, no front licese plate and tinted windows. Man what else can go wrong.

Anyway, anyone know where I can get a new tailgate. Ford wants close to $1000 and I am not sure if I want to turn it into insureance.

$1000 for a tailgate! Now you know why yours is missing. Maybe somebody else had theirs stollen and spotted yours. I hope things get better for you. I will keep my eyes out for ya. Keep us up to date on what you do.

There's a place on Orangethorpe & Jefferson (I think) called All Ford Auto Salavge. I drive by the place often and it looks like they have a bunch of beds & tailgates. Their # is 714/993-0124.
