Has anyone had to replace their front brake pads yet ? If so how many miles did you get out of them?
Thanks,

Unless they changed anything from '01 to '05 you should get quite a few miles.
I got over 60k on my '01 F350 service body. Thing weighs about 8k fully loaded.
I have yet to do the brakes on my personal truck and am at about 47k now.
But, I don't tow much if ever.
I ran 40k on the fronts of my 00.
They were about half through when I changed them.
They probably would have lasted 80k.
This was with BIG tires, too.

I heard the new 05 pads were softer?? Or were they harder? I know i got 60K of mine and they still had at least 20% left.
