Had my springs re-arched without an add-a-leaf and I have to say that it rides quite a bit nicer. The stance is correct and it looks good. I think I was just about on the bumpstops and the front end had little travel. It may sag down in a couple of years, but the add-a-leaf kit looked like it would cut into the oem springs and it would stiffen the ride (it was not arched the same). The add-a-leaf is the same for the f-250 or f-350. remember i have the TTB IFS with the inverted leaf pack on the front. Got some new rubber bushings in the leafs too, and If you get/have a previous generation diesel, (it will be sagging) I would recommend a re-arch without the extra leaf.

. I am going to get a Superlift 4" kit
. I have checked out quite a few kits and that one seems to be the best bang for the buck, with steering arm and shocks ect. I spoke to several folks about the stock spring re-arc but was convinced by them that the material in the Ford springs was weak
. So not wanting to have to do it twice I'll get the new springs.Besides the wife frowns on spending money like that especially twice...Oh well that my next project in a couple of months...Denis
I sure wish I could do a 4" lift but the better half can hardly get in it now
