    PYRO INSTALL?

    IM TRYING TO FIND A ALTERNATE MOUNTING LOCATION FOR A PYROMETER GUAGE(NO PILLAR MOUNTS)... HAS ANY ONE COME UP WITH ANY CLEAN INSTALLS? MABEY AN IN-DASH MOUNT? I HAVE A 2005 SD!!! PLEASE HELP

    If you have the manual transfer case, you can use the under cubby hole mount.

    If you have ESOF, you have that second glove box there, though.

    The one i'm getting is a guage mount that goes in between your sun visors, it looks really clean, and stealthy, also you get to keep your oh Sh!t handle, that some of us lifted guys use.

    j&d performance has a holder for the gauges that goes above your rear veiw mirror by the super duty stick

    I think im going to mount it in the drivers glove box....It looks to be the right size and if I need to see it all I have to do is open the door and "Whal-la" there it is.....I will post pics when it's all done!

    Install complete...I went ahead and did the whole pillar set up. I did the install myself and saved about $300.00. It really wasn't hard except for the pyro thermocoupler, its in a tight spot for the drill. Here are some pics of the new set up.

    Thanks guys! BTW,Pit they are autometer sport comp guages. They were the closest match to the stock guages in the dash. I also put green bulbs in them so they match perfectly
