    I broke it...

For the first time in my trucks life, I broke it. Well kinda. I was going up the street to get the mail from my mail box when it happened. It has been raining for the last week up here and the road was all washed out. No big deal, I have driven that road for years. But what happened is that while I was straddling the gully with running water, the side caved in and the truck fell in the gully. It was a good 2 feet deep and I got stuck. I quickly put it in 4x4 low and got out with out any problems. I got out of the truck to look if I did any damage, and I found a badly bent tie rod. It was the short one that connects to the bell crank or what ever it is called. It looks like I will be calling ORU to get a new one and it looks like that is all that happened to the truck so I will be forced to let it sit until I can get it fixed. At least I was able to drive it home....

So yes.... I just inflicted the trucks first wound caused by driver error..... With help from Mother Nature I might add.....

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
    1. Jesus Christ
    2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

In my defense, that was the first time I have ever driven it like that.... The truck took a big hit. The dirt gave way and the truck went down.
As far as the injectors go, I am still thinking about doing them, but once again I have another project that will take up my time and funds. I found a 99 PSD that I want to convert to the WVO.
