Good News, and Very Bad News!!

The good news is that I got my Blackstone report from my second oil change last week and everything was perfect. No diesel, coolant, or water in the oil. All of the wear indicators suggested this engine was going to be beautiful.
The bad news is MY TRUCK WAS STOLEN OVER THE WEEKEND!!!! I was out SCUBA diving in San Diego on the afternoon boat (1pm-6pm) and when we got back I had no truck. Broad daylight in a crowded parking lot.

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
    1. Jesus Christ
    2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

That definetly falls into the category of, "Things that suck"! Sorry to hear about that, I would rather wreck it than have it stolen! At least that way you know what, when, where, who and why. Having something stolen leaves you feeling so violated and used.

Good luck and I hope they find it and smoke the f%*#er that took it!

Re: Good News, and Very Bad News!!

Thanks everyone for your concerns. Yes, it suxx big time, and I get more angry every day. If it's not recovered, the insurance will send the information to an outside company to establish its value. My truck was in immaculate condition, and based on my Blackstone reports, I think it was better than a new truck. I don't have much faith in the insurance company reaching what I think the value oif the truck should be.

    Mike,
The truck was parked in the Seaforth Sportfishing parking lot, just up from the dock where the LoisAnn is docked.
