    Looking for an upgrade.

I'm looking for the first upgrade to the 05. Any suggestions as far as what box to go with. Thanks!

I heard it is hard for the 05's to make the power of the earlier 6.0's... I wonder if Woodmans SCT would be a good option? I hear it makes killer power and the tranny shifts nearly perfect.

Well, I ain't to worried about the tranny shifting cause it's a 6 speed. I'd be willing to give it a shot. Is he open on Saturday and how do you get to his shop? Thanks!

I have an 03 6spd with 35's 3.73 gears and I have the new Quad race module. The power is just awesome. I tow my 9500lb boat in level 1 with no problems. I daily drive in level 2 and can get the tires to break lose some with a chirp going into 2nd gear. In level 3 it will roast the tires and the power is just insane. Level 3 is not made for daily drivng just the occasional eat my exhaust runs. He does have a 120 hp adjustable module that you can run level 3 all the time.

Well I pm'd quad the other day about his module and I didn't get a responce back. I figured he'd sold all he wanted to sell and he didn't need my business.

Woodman was just on the site an hour ago. PM him and see what he thinks are your best options. Did you hear his speach on his SCT at the 2nd anniversary meeting? I remember you were there, but not sure if you heard it or not.

Well quad did finally pm me and he is sending me one of his modules to try. You really can't beat that. I'll be sure to let you all know what I think when it comes in!

    Re: Looking for an upgrade.

Are you putting a new exhaust behind your new module? Or just running it with the stock exhaust for now? What are you going to do for guages? Sorry, just interested in the new trucks... Scotty

    Re: Looking for an upgrade.

I'll keep the stock exhaust minus the muffler. I've already got a boost gauge (factory). I'll just get the pyro and be done. I really don't need a tranny gauge since I've got a 6 speed.

Did you get the 120 hp or the race module? I know probably a stupid question!

    Re: Looking for an upgrade.

I haven't got it yet. Quad just said he was going to send me a module to test and he didn't say which one, I just assumed it would be the 160! Hopefully it shows up sometime next week!
