ATS Diesel Performance Presents the 2nd Annual High Desert Diesel Roundup in conjuction with Diesel Performance Shops and Hunter Dodge. We have some great sponsors on board for this years event, which promises to be one of the biggest of its kind out west. Don't forget, this will be the final round of the LACR/DHRA drag race series as well as a sled pull event. This is the finale for 05 out west, so don't miss it. My guess is we will see some of the baddest diesel pulling trucks and fastest diesel drag racers to date out here. Word has it ATS is bringing an arsenal of trucks and goodies . So pack your motorhomes, load up the family, and plan to spend the weekend of Sept. 24,25 at LACR.

Just a heads up, I have made some revisions to the rules for the the 05 HDDR sled pull. The changes were made in the interest of the pull after some input from various competitors. The revision of concern is the change in the hanging weight rule for the street class. There is now NO hanging weight in the 7500 lb street class but it is still allowed in the 8500 lb street class. Anyone who would like an explanation of this, feel free to contact me. Other changes are DOT tires now required in the Pro Street class, and the tire size limit for the pro street class is now 37" instead of 35". I have also re-worded the hitch rules but the same basic principles apply.

I would reccomend the Days Inn, but wherever you stay, make sure you go to Crazy Otto's Diner and come .

I just realized that the we are doing my Grandma's 80th birthday on the afternoon/evening of the 24th.

I was hoping to be there all weekend, but this is something I kinda have to go to I mean I was really looking forward to being there.

If anything maybe I can be around Saturday morning 'til 1 or 2pm and catch some of the drags......

IDK and I could use a good cheering section for the race as IDK is in second place I think ??
We are the only Fords to show at all the races and support our club.
I think the Red Racer is the first 6.0 in the 12's on the west coast.
