San Diego 97 PSD (Southern SoCal)

Ok, I see u guys are a little short on the 94-97's. I'm from North County San Diego and just got me a PSD square body F-250 HD with 70k miles. I'm kind of going through it to fix all the BS and to un-XL it a little with some new seats and a radio and stuff. Overall, it's been well maintained by some agency of the federal gov't and has a lot of new maint. parts and drives real tight.

I'm about ready to get a little power to the ground and was hoping to get some advice on how to get about 300 whp and whatever amount of torque without killing my E40D right off the bat. I forgot to make signature so I'll get on it...

I agree, Dale Isley (Tymar Performance, 509-922-8785) would be a good person to talk to about the performance stuff. From my years of reading at TheDieselStop, if you get to 300 WHP, you will want to remember this: Brian's Truck Shop (Lead Hill, Arkansas). He is the man when it comes to E4ODs. Cheers!

My friend toasted his E4OD with the Banks PowerPack towing his trailer. He drives hard, but it got wasted. THe E4 is the weak link, so I would start there. It will save you a lot of headaches.

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
    1. Jesus Christ
    2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

That post is 120 days old. I guess I have been fairly busy the last four months--still not satisfied...
